The CDL Logistics Group includes:
CDL was originally formed in 1983 to provide distribution services for the Cancol Printing Group in Peckham. In 1993 CDL moved to new premises at the Tower Bridge Business Complex in Bermondsey with its offices and warehouse located in the old Peek Frean's biscuit factory, which originally gave Bermondsey the nickname 'Biscuit Town' for popular creations such as the Bourbon and the Garibaldi. Since its formation, CDL Logistics has flourished and grown by focusing on its core competencies of warehousing, fulfilment and logistics coupled with significant investment in developing its own IT solution IFS (Integrated Fulfilment System).
With the launch of its own transport division and entering into new markets including non-paper product distribution expansion has continued. Originally occupying 30,000 sq. ft. of warehousing CDL has increased 10-fold and runs in excess of 240,000 sq. ft. of warehousing.
The purchase of 3 purpose built modern high bay racked units in South East London, and the acquisition of Fairway PSD Limited (Slough) and iMS Fulfilment and Distribution has taken the CDL Logistics Group into new market sectors such as automotive, FMCG and e-commerce as well as enhancing the choice of geographic locations to our clients.
